The reason you might not have free space yet is that the deleted photos and videos are still in the "Recently Deleted" album in your Photos app. These items will automatically be deleted after 30 days. To free up space immediately, you can manually delete them from the "Recently Deleted" album.
Please note that this will permanently remove the media from your phone
